Old Park Organics Farm Family

About Us

Our story, our values, and the people behind Old Park Organics

Our Story

Old Park Organics began in 2010 when we, the Wilson family, decided to transform our conventional farm into something more sustainable and meaningful. After years of conventional farming, we were increasingly concerned about the impact of industrial agriculture on soil health, animal welfare, and human nutrition.

We started by converting 50 acres to organic production and introducing a small herd of native breed cattle. Year by year, we expanded our organic acreage and refined our grazing practices, learning from both traditional wisdom and cutting-edge regenerative agriculture research.

In 2015, we achieved Pasture For Life certification, formalizing our commitment to 100% grass-fed beef production. Today, our entire 200-acre farm is certified organic and managed according to regenerative principles, with a thriving herd of cattle at its heart.

What began as a family's desire to farm differently has grown into a mission: to produce the most nutritious, ethical beef possible while demonstrating that farming can heal rather than harm our planet.

Our Farm

Old Park Farm is nestled in the rolling hills of the English countryside, spanning 200 acres of lush pastures, ancient woodlands, and thriving hedgerows. Our landscape is a testament to our regenerative approach:

  • Diverse pastures with over 40 species of grasses, legumes, and herbs
  • 5 miles of restored hedgerows providing wildlife corridors and windbreaks
  • 3 acres of newly planted woodland to increase biodiversity and carbon sequestration
  • Natural water management systems including ponds and swales

Our Values

Respect for Nature

We believe in working with natural systems rather than against them. Our farming practices are designed to enhance the environment, not deplete it. We see ourselves as stewards of the land, responsible for leaving it better than we found it.

Animal Welfare

We're committed to giving our animals the best possible life. This means allowing them to express their natural behaviors, eat their natural diet, and live with minimal stress. We believe that respect for our animals translates to better quality beef and a clearer conscience.

Transparency

We believe consumers have a right to know exactly how their food is produced. We maintain open communication about our practices and welcome visitors to the farm to see firsthand how we raise our cattle and manage our land.

Community

We're proud to be part of a growing movement of farmers, consumers, and advocates working toward a more sustainable food system. We actively share knowledge with other farmers and engage with our local community through farm tours, workshops, and educational events.
